Hostel was inaugarated by Metla Sathyanarayana, the former minister for touitim government of Andhra pradesh
This school has so far educated more than 1200 deaf children

SHGs training programme for the women
It’s a cosmic reality that the society is structured in a way that the vast majority of the people are in ignorance and dependence, deprived of their basic needs of food, clothes, health care and education while a small majority enjoy the lavish affluence at the cost of the marginalized society.
In the initial survey, it was clear that women and children are the most neglected group as in as in case of by gone days of Jesus Christ. Our entry point was motivating the women for self-help groups inculcating in them the habit of saving.
The impact was tremendous unity among women, helping and supporting each other, avoiding Moneylenders, creating awareness of their problems and the need for literacy. This resulted in an attitudinal change in the women. Realizing the value of saving, they started income generating activities, which helped the families to increase their income.
Along with the saving programme the women are engaged in the activities like kitchen garden, tree plantation, adult literacy, Mahila Maha Saba etc. Through participation in programs, in celebrations, get together functions, they realize their self worth, face the public, and freely express themselves whereby they get aware of their rights and all the welfare schemes they are entitled to.
Vacational training centres for skill development
JEAD is giving an upliftment to these children by taking them under its wing, helping them by enrolling them in good standard schools and boarding schools near their own villages, paying their school fee, buying them books and cloths and looking after their well being in multiple ways.
Besides the Solidarity Day,JEAD also arranges for them “School preparatory Day” in the month of June and gives books, uniforms and encourages them to study well and to discipline one self and behave well in schools and boarding.
Often during the year,JEAD oordinators, women leaders and women members go and visit them in boarding schools, talks to them as if they are their mothers. The bond between children and women, coordinators is growing. Children feel that they are lucky, loved and cared and do tell anything they want very freely.
Program for the Aged
The modern nuclear family and the busy life leads to the neglect of the old aged. So the family feels a burden to look after the aging members.
This results in the neglect and feeling of unwantedness by the aged group. To meet this need Home for the aged is maintained at Tirupatii. It is run free of charge. The inmates are provided with medical requirements.
Their spiritual needs are also catered too in addition to the nutritious food they are served. In responding to the need of the hour the former health centre was converted into a Home in the year 1995.
This programe is conducted once in three months. Nearly 50 aged men & women who have no one to look after, the destitute from different areas
This is to show our solidarity and make them feel that they are cared, and help them to let out their feelings by sharing with one another. These selected aged are given Rice, Dall, Oil, Soaps, Pocket money Rs 50 needed for three months. Sponsored by ‘Bala Vikasa’.
HIV/AIDS – Care and Support
This is he person who cheerfully brightens these victims each day with words of hope, inspiration and assurance. In this center there are facilities both for in-patients and outpatients. The AIDS Department, Hyderabad is financing this program which was started in the year 2004.
